From September 4, 2009:

The start of the ninth GMSR! It was another signature GMSR day; sunny and warm. There was a noticeable headwind on sections of the course keeping the fastest time from going under 14 minutes. Dan Vaillancourt of Colavita/Sutter Home posted the fastest time of the day finishing in 14:04.

The fastest women's time was 16:27 put up by Johanne Cyr from Team Rocky Mountain.
